Yo what’s happening! We’ve all had a time where we were broker than the corner store crackhead down the block and it ain’t fun, especially when you have bills to pay. Let me let you in on a little something and teach you to save mad stacks.
1
We Got McDonalds At HomeJust as your momma always said growing up. If you got food at home, don’t be lazy and cook a little something. It’s cheaper, healthier and definitely seasoned better.
2
Plan A Meal Cuz It’s A DealY’know how you see those health obsessed instagram influencers who bulk cook food and have meals for a week? Try that once in a while, that way you don’t have to spend every night cooking and can enjoy some YOU time.
3
Coupons = SavingsNow listen, I’m not saying get crazy like those people you see on Extreme Couponing who save $300 a grocery trip (as nice as that would be). Suck up your pride and collect a few papers or digital coupons, a few saved cents go a long way.
4
Freeze That ShitBelieve it or not, you save mad time and money by freezing food. As long as your freezer doesn’t give your food that nasty ass freezerburn, you can buy in bulk and save leftovers for a while.
5
Drinks At HomeLike deadass, you do NOT need to be spending no $7.25 on a starbucks drink in the dead of winter when it’s mad brick outside. That shit eats up your bank, so invest in a french press and some creamer ASAP.
We’re being real out here. College life isn’t cheap or easy so I’m trying to make it easier for YOU. Hold up, i’m not saying you need to be eating ramen noodles for the fourth night in a row, but with some smart decisions and budgeting, a few dollars here and there can go a really long way.
