What’s poppin’! We’re here to drop some wisdom on y’all about budgeting with credit cards when money is tight and bills are piling up. We know the struggle is real, but we know what’s good when it comes to saving some dough.
1
Track Your Benjamins First things first, keep an eye on your cash flow. Jot down all the dollars coming in and every dime going out. Use an app or pen and paper – whatever works for you. Just stay in the know.
2
Cut That Shit Out!Cable TV? Nah (nobody be using that anymore) you got streaming. Latte every morning? Brew your own and save the green. Don’t spend what you could be saving and you’ll have mad bread in no time!
3
Couponing Is as Good as Food StampsHit up those sales, and clip those coupons. Keep your belly happy without breaking the bank. Home-cooked meals have more flavor and won’t be as bland as that 2 star fast food restaurant up the block (it’ll probably save you a trip to the bathroom too).
4
Rainy Day StashSave some of that paper for a rainy day. You never know when life will fuck you over and decide ‘Hey, lets have someone break into their apartment and steal their laptop’. A little emergency fund can keep you chill and collected when the unexpected hits, so Stack that bread.
5
Roll With It!Credit cards can save you when you start slippin, but don’t get it twisted, they need to be used proper or else your credit score will screw you over. Pay those bills on time, and only charge what you can handle. Don’t let that plastic lead you astray!
So, we hope you took notes on our budgeting tips for all you broke babes with those low funds. Staying smart about your finances will help you build that financial portfolio and good things will come from that so don’t be slackin’ and get to stackin’! 😎💰🎶
