Aight, now we’re going to shoot the shit on making a secure password because how else are you going to protect all your personals?

Be Unique!

Create a password that means something to you but is also secure! It could be a line from your favorite quote from Cardi B “$$$!1IMABOUTTHISSHMONEY1!$$$”.

The Longer, The Better

Most people recommend that you make your password at least 12-14 characters long. Now, we aint saying write a whole ass paragraph but something that would be hard to guess, yknow? Throw in some special characters like !,@,#,$, and uppercase letters and that scammer will have a tough time cracking that code!

Manage Them Codes

If you can make up a good password, don’t worry, there’s an app for that. NordPass, 1Pass, or Bitwarden are some of the popular few that new users be using to protect their info. These apps can help create secure passwords as well as store them.

Change and Don’t Repeat!

It’s also recommended that you change your password every 3 months. And don’t make that password the same or similar; use a different prompt, use different special characters and numbers. Keep those scammers away!

Get Back Up

Authenticator apps will be your best friend if someone got your code and you need to reset it, or even if you just forgot it. Apps like Google Authenticator are mad helpful with having that 2nd line of defense.

Now, go change that password you had since 3rd grade that you use for everything because for all you know, you could be next on those scammers lists. Be secured and step up your protection game!
